Batam, November 26 – 28th 2013 – Problems of drainage, sewerage, sanitation, trash, and drinking water in urban areas is an important thing to be resolved, one with the City Sanitation Strategy / District (SSCs), which is a program of the National Development Planning Agency. Along with time and the dynamics of society, there should be an evaluation of the implementation and updating of SSCs to control basic infrastructure in urban areas. Workshop on Evaluation of SSCs in order Consultancy Updates Guidance and Control of Urban Infrastructure held in Batam city on 26-28th November, 2013, Balifokus which was represented by the Mr. Dewa Alit Setiarsa who participate in the event.

In the workshop there are several important agenda include: presentation of a progress update SSCs by representatives from the city invited 6 (Banjarmasin city, Stone Town, Denpasar, Jambi, and Manado City), response by provincial representatives, Discussion Lessons learned and action plan further settlement documents SSK updating each city. The end result of this workshop include: Marketing programs / activities with priority district / city or regency / municipality in the province, agreement between the program / physical and non-physical activities with a clear source of funding (provincial budget, the state budget and private and public) , and a memorandum of understanding (MPS).
